Hello,

I'm new to the list but I didn't see any postings in the last 24 hours.

Am I at a dead end here?

I'm considering buying a flex 6700 and step up to the next generation of
radio's.

I'm a satisfied Elecraft user (K2/K3's) but ready for something new.

Let's see what this reflector brings up.

Hi Evert, this reflector is pretty quiet. Most of the flex activity occurs on the flex community website

https://community.flexradio.com/flexradio/

Sign up there and you will have volumes of information and folks to talk to.

Until a new version of the code is released, or until someone shows us a picture of a cool tee-shirt. Then this reflector lights up.

With all of KE9NS's http://www.ke9ns.com/flexpage.html feature
enhancements to the PowerSDR code, it's added some additional life to the
5000, 3000, and 1500 series.

Hmmm... I went there and found that virtually the entire web site seems to
have all the files and images (except for the links to YouTube videos)
replaced with a single 80.4kB file that appears to be an HTML page with some
sort of program loader and/or some executable code. I suspect the web site
has been hacked.

My Sophos UTM-9 firewall reports the site as being infested with PUP and
other malware.

I download a few of the supposed .PNG images and a .PDF and found them to
all be the same identical file mentioned above.

Avast! and Malwarebytes do not report problems with the unknown file.

Be careful.

I just went to
http://www.ke9ns.com/flexpage.html
with 4 different browsers all worked fine. Was able to download the
latest "Features" document and the latest program.
If you have a concern, e-mail ***@ke9ns.com

Thanks Pete & others,

After some more checking while using another ISP, I determined that
something along the line when I am on my primary ISP seems to be rerouting
some of the links to somewhere else. However, the web site loads just fine
using my alternate ISP. I therefore stand corrected in my initial
assessment, and humbly apologize for the erroneous statements I made
previously.

Best DX & 73,
